Heels choreo, decoded.

High heels change everything. Leg line lengthens. Hip isolation sharpens. Floor work becomes a statement — you can't just drop. Over the last five years heels choreo went from a Moscow studio specialty to a global sub-genre. This page tracks the 8 creators who built it.

What makes it "heels choreo."

Three criteria: (1) the dancer performs in heels, 4-inch minimum; (2) the phrasing includes at least 30% floor work or deep squats; (3) the hip isolations are slower and more controlled than raw reggaetón perreo. Anything less and it's just "twerk with heels" which is a different thing.

Where to start.

If you want to learn heels choreo: Лада Гоцци's Pharaoh "Пломбир" is the right first study (167K views, cleanest phrasing). Watch it 5x — first for the whole phrase, then focusing on feet, then arms, then hip-pop timing, then camera work.

If you already dance and want to perform heels choreo: BEFOX "Unholy" shows the stripdance vocabulary you need to borrow. Angela's "Sip It" shows the cinematic framing. Combine both and you have a reel that opens doors.
