Angela

Bio

Angela is the second-most productive choreographer in the iDance Studio Taipei roster (after WanGong Lin). Her signature: cinematic camera work. While most studio videos settle for a static master shot, Angela's pieces use subtle crane moves, focal shifts, and dolly-in tracking that make the 8-count phrasing feel like broadcast television.

She started at iDance around 2020 as a backup dancer. By 2023 she had her own Wednesday + Saturday choreo blocks. Her Iggy Azalea + Tyga "Sip It" upload at position #017 of our main archive is the reference cut — textbook phrasing, textbook frame composition.

Technique signature

Three marks of an Angela piece: (1) multi-angle edit when the choreo warrants it — rare in K-dance but she'll cut between a wide and a tight on key beats; (2) confident shoulder work — her chest isolations are sharper than most instructors bother with; (3) tight ensemble — if the piece has 4+ dancers, they all hit the same mark on the same frame. Zero tolerance for off-sync.

Reference cuts

Iggy Azalea, Tyga — "Sip It" (position #017). The textbook iDance Angela piece. Clean, sharp, 4 dancers, single location.

Big Boss Vette — "Pretty Girls Walk" (position #020). Larger ensemble, more camera movement, the "showcase" version of her style.

Studio + booking

iDance Studio Taipei · Gangnam/East Taipei district. Open enrollment every 6 weeks. Angela's blocks are Wednesday evenings (advanced) and Saturday afternoons (intermediate). Weekly drop-in possible for international students with 48h advance notice.
