VR KINGS is the standout 180° VR fancam team in Seoul. Three operators, two custom rig setups, one shared aesthetic: capture the dancer like you're three meters in front of the stage. Their work is the reference for what immersive K-dance video looks like in 2026.
Founded in 2022 by an ex-broadcast engineer who had been frustrated by the gap between flat YouTube fancam and what dance felt like in person. The first uploads were rough — single-rig, no editing pipeline. By 2024 the team had moved to dual 8K stereoscopic capture, custom audio sync, and a regular release cadence. They are why VR fancam stopped being a novelty and became a category.
Three things make a VR KINGS upload recognizable. (1) Single static position. No tracking shots. The viewer chooses what to watch by turning their head — the camera doesn't make the choice. (2) Three-meter distance rule. Far enough to see full bodies, close enough to feel present. They calibrate this every shoot. (3) Audio-first sync. The track lives in the viewer's head with proper directional audio. If you watch their work without VR you only get half of it.
Most VR dance content on YouTube is hobbyist work — single-rig, mono audio, low frame rates. VR KINGS treat each shoot the way a broadcast crew would treat a televised concert. That standard pulled the global VR dance category up over 2024-2025 and gave Quest and Vision Pro users a real reason to install YouTube VR.
VR KINGS uploads anchor the immersive section of our Premium+ archive. We don't index them in the main 7 playlists because the format is wrong for flat-screen viewing — but if you ask Alexia what to watch in headset, this team is on the shortlist. We've featured 8 of their pieces over the last 18 months.
YouTube channel updated bi-monthly. No standalone website. Booking via Seoul-area DM only. They don't accept commercial choreography work — fancam-only producers by choice.
